The Role:
As a Senior Front End Engineer for the direct to consumer (DTC) Platform Team youll play a crucial role in designing and developing innovative features for our website including ecommerce features. Youll collaborate closely with a small team in a dynamic environment to enhance our platform and to push the boundaries of web technology.
Responsibilities:
- Leverage the latest technologies to build transformative experiences for our ecommerce website
- Ideate build and iterate quickly on projects that enhance the user experience streamline the purchasing process and integrate AIdriven features
- Develop tools for other teams to manage localization more efficiently
- Optimise our websites response time and monitor the impact on users interactions with the website to identify website to identify friction points
- Drive new features from prototype to production by collaborating closely with designers and other engineers
- Implement best practices in coding testing and deployment to ensure highquality and reliable software
- Ensure the scalability and security of the platform
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree or above in computer science software engineering artificial intelligence or related fields with proven experience in handson development
- Experience working as a Senior Front End Engineer / Developer in a highgrowth fastpaced environment with the ability to quickly adapt new technologies to our platform
- Proficiency in both frontend and backend technologies including frameworks like React Angular and databases such as MongoDB or PostgreSQL
- Experience with ecommerce platforms and a strong eye for design and user experience
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Understanding of best practices in web security and scalability
