Job Description

St. Ignatius School

Position Description
Fulltime Grade 3 Teacher:school year
Continuous permanent contract subject to a successful probationary year.
Effective on Tuesday September 2 2025

Qualifications
Bachelor of Education Degree
Valid Permanent Manitoba Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for)
A sound knowledge of provincial Early Years curricula
Knowledge with Strategic Strategies i.e. Guided Reading and Guided Math
A sound knowledge and experience with schoolbased technology
Strong classroom management skills
A commitment to Catholic Faith
A commitment to differentiated instruction based on student needs
Familiarity with current teaching/learning/assessment practices
A team player committed to the belief that all students can learn
Selfmotivated

Child Abuse Registry Check and Criminal Record Check documents will be required prior to commencement of employment.
