Job Summary

Arapahoe Community College is looking for a detailoriented and proactive Procurement & Travel Card Program Coordinator to support critical purchasing operations ensure compliance with state regulations and manage key financial programs that directly support faculty staff and students.

In this role youll evaluate and process purchase requests in alignment with state procurement rules and institutional policies manage both formal and informal solicitations and serve as a key liaison between internal departments and vendors. Youll oversee the colleges travel card program including training audits and issue resolution and assist with the procurement card (Pcard) program and Official Functions processing. This position also involves reconciling discrepancies in purchasing documents maintaining auditready records preparing required reports and fostering crossfunctional collaboration to improve procurement processes and ensure compliance. Your ability to interpret regulations build internal relationships and leverage state price agreements will help drive efficient valueadded purchasing across campus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or other closely related field OR four years of purchasing accounting or business processes experience may substitute for the required degree but will not count towards the experience requirement below.

  • Two years of professional purchasing experience.
  • Higher education experience or experience managing programs requiring detailed analysis.
  • Familiarity with the State of Colorado Procurement and Fiscal Rules.
  • Analytical thinking andproblem solvingskills combined with excellent customer service.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Five years of experience working in higher educationpurchasing.
  • Experience managing fleet cardspurchasingcards corporate purchasing or credit cards.
  • Experience using Banner and CORE.
  • Progressive professional experience in procurement accounting or otherbusiness relatedfield thatdemonstratesprogressively increasing professional level work.
