Job Description
The Childrens School at Stephens College (CSSC) is seeking fulltime teachers for theacademic school year with the potential for renewal.
About Us
CSSC is deeply embedded in the Stephens College teacher education program offering a holistic and handson approach to early childhood and elementary education. We foster a lifelong love of learning through exploration creativity and discovery.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum that integrates the arts and sciences.
- Mentor preservice teachers in the Stephens College education program.
- Engage in school events and activities including staff meetings professional development and collegerelated activities.
- Assess and evaluate students progress across all content areas.
- Uphold school and college policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the CSSC Director.
Qualifications:
- Missouri teaching certificate in Early Childhood or Elementary Education (required).
- Teaching experience (preferred).
- Experience in integrating the arts and sciences into the curriculum (preferred).
