Job Description

Undergraduate Admissions:

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions supports the university in meeting its strategic enrollment goals and fulfilling the UCF Strategic Plan. It is responsible for coordinating the identification recruitment admissions and enrollment of all undergraduate firsttimeincollege transfer nondegree dual enrollment early admission and nonFlorida public institution transient students. The office leverages the UCF brand to market communicate and engage with broadly diverse talented and academically qualified students who will enrich our community and achieve academic and personal excellence.

The Opportunity:

This position would support the ongoing integration between Slate and PeopleSoft allowing for increased progress in development of Slate projects and enhancements improvements to the efficiency of existing processes and implementation of system tuning and auditing. This position would also provide a backup for many of the single source processes on the team including data loads between Slate and People Soft.

Responsibilities:

The Undergraduate Admissions Team and the UCF community as a whole would benefit greatly from the addition of a Business Systems Analyst. The workload of the undergraduate admissions tech team has grown significantly since the inception of our Slate environment due to the increased number of users data and processes as well as requests to accommodate the needs of other areas and colleges on campus. The team would utilize this additional resource to support the ongoing integration between Slate and PeopleSoft allowing for increased progress in development of Slate projects and enhancements improvements to the efficiency of existing processes and implementation of system tuning and auditing.

This position would also provide a backup for many of the single source processes on the team.

The duties for this position would include:

  • Supports integration processes between Slate and Campus SIS (Applications Decisions MATRs).
  • Works with Operations team on Application sync and review.
  • Works with Recruitment on Decision flow and timing.
  • Works with Slate team to design and build enhancements based on Slate Project list.
  • Works with Manager on Slate Data quality control.
  • Backup contact between UA and UCF IT.
  • Support for development testing and implementation for changes and updates for all UA system.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Equivalent and 4 years of relevant experience or a Bachelors degree and 0 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.2196.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of computer concepts and student database systems (PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Slate) data loads processes data review and reconciliation.
