The Middle Mile Transportation Technology organization builds complex software solutions that work across our vendors warehouses and carriers to optimize both time & cost of getting the packages delivered. Our services already handle thousands of requests per second make business decisions impacting billions of dollars a year integrate with a network of small and large carriers owner operators and drivers worldwide manage business rules for millions of unique products and improve ordering and delivery experience for millions of online shoppers. That said this remains a fast growing business and our technical journey has only started. An example of a recent innovation from this group is AmazonFlex that enables crowdsourced last mile delivery. As part of this team you will lead the product definition and management for driver capacity planning in middle mile transportation organization. You will regularly interact with executive leadership and work with operations teams to define product strategy develop the product development roadmap and . Youll work in a fast paced environment and will be required to lead not only at the strategic level but also tactically daytoday by diving deeply into business domains.
To accomplish this you will be expected to have an established background in product development excellent project management skills great communication skills and a motivation to achieve results in a fast paced environment. You should be somebody who enjoys working on complex system software is customercentric and feels strongly about building good software as well as making that software achieve its operational goals.

7 years of working cross functionally with tech and nontech teams experience
7 years of program or project management experience
7 years of managing analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership experience
Bachelors degree
Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
Experience delivering projects within scope time budget and quality

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
