Job Description
SUMMARY:
Performs utility and support tasks as directed by the Manager pickup and delivery of parts and equipment basic service checks of Branch equipment and maintenance of related records shop and office housekeeping. May under supervision provide assistance in the repair and maintenance of BrandSafway equipment.
The ideal candidate MUST have previous possess a valid drivers license and clean driving record. Prior experience operating a forklift is a plus. Detail oriented quick learner selfmotivated coachable and dependable.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: This role is expected to:
- Operates Company vehicles in a safe and responsible manner for the pickup and delivery of equipment parts tools and material as directed.
- Performs periodic safety inspections and maintenance checks on Company vehicles and BrandSafway equipment and insures that required maintenance actions are accomplished on schedule and maintains related records.
- Performs general warehousing tasks such as the receiving and storing of parts and material as well as packaging and shipping parts and material and maintains related records.
- Drive forklift to move inventory and materials across the facility and to load and unload customers as well as freight in and out.
- Prepares orders by processing request and supply orders; pulling materials packing boxes placing orders and inspect return equipment.
- Sort and place parts materials or equipment on racks shelves or in bins and store inventory in the proper location according to BrandSafway standards.
- Performs daily general housekeeping and janitorial tasks to keep both work areas and warehouse clean and orderly.
- As directed assists Service Mechanics in the maintenance and repair of BrandSafway equipment and accessories in the shop and at job sites.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and carry for extended period (up to 15 minutes) several times during one shift.
- Organize attention to detail inventory control skills and teamwork.
- Good time management and documentation skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fastpaced environment.
- Safety first attitude.
- Positive attitude selfmotivated.
- Have reliable transportation to report to work
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid drivers license with clean driving record (required).
- Prior experience with Forklift a plus (willing to train).
