Job Description
Develop customize and maintain GIS applications usingArcGIS QGIS FME or equivalent GIS software.
Conductgeospatial data analysis mapping and visualizationto support decisionmaking.
Design implement and managespatial databases(PostGIS Oracle Spatial Microsoft SQL Server etc..
Automategeoprocessing workflowsusing Python ModelBuilder or FME Workbench.
Developwebbased GIS applicationsusing JavaScript Leaflet OpenLayers or Esri APIs.
Integrate GIS solutions withenterprise systems(ERP CRM asset management platforms etc..
Deploy and managecloudbased GIS solutions(ArcGIS Online AWS Azure Google Earth Engine).
Provide technical support and training for GIS users within the organization.
Ensure compliance withgovernment geospatial data standards and security policies.
Required Qualifications:
Education:Bachelors or Masters degree in Geography Geomatics Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
Experience:Minimum5 years of professional experience in GIS development.
GIS Software Expertise:Experience withArcGIS QGIS FME or other GIS platforms.
Programming Skills:Proficiency inPython JavaScript SQL or other languages used in geospatial development.
Database Management:Experience withspatial databases(PostGIS Oracle Spatial SQL Server).
Geospatial Data Analysis:Strong understanding ofspatial analysis coordinate systems and data transformation.
Web GIS Development:Experience buildingweb mapping applicationswith Leaflet OpenLayers or Esri APIs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience withmachine learning and AI for geospatial analysis.
Knowledge ofremote sensing LiDAR processing and satellite imagery analysis.
Experience integrating GIS solutions withenterprise asset management systems.
Familiarity withgeospatial data security and open data policies.
