Job Description
Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Neonatology & Newborn Services in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the nontenure academic clinician track. Applicants must have anM.D. D.O. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Applicants must be board certified/eligible in NeonatalPerinatal Medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics or in Internal Medicine for tenure and research tracks.
Teaching responsibilities may include clinical education of medical students residents and fellows as well as formal lecture opportunities within the Division and Department.
Clinical responsibilities may include providing outstanding clinical care and productivity in program development. Clinical care will be provided in the 100 bed Level IV Neonatal/Infant Intensive Care Unit at Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia and the 38 bed Level III NICU at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania as well as in the Neonatal FollowUp Program. Duties also include providing outpatient and inpatient consultative services.
