We are currently looking for aBid Managerto support mainly our Public Sector deals within our Sales Support organization.
The Bid Manager provides leadership and guides the teams stakeholders and clients throughout the engagement life cycle. He performs an active role in the definition and of the strategy and client engagement plan and works with the sales lead in deal qualification client and partner engagement leading a composite team ensuring all deliverables are met.
Key job responsibilities:
Is SPOC for the client third parties and partners regarding tender procurement and planning matters;
Develops owns and maintains a pursuit and resource plan and engages multidisciplinary team.
Develops and Manages the pursuit budget within affordability guidelines;
Ensures the quality and timeliness of all client deliverables across all work streams;
Ensures compliance with corporate governance process
Responsible for end to end project management of the pursuit managing risks and issues;
Communicates and reinforces sales strategy and client requirements to the pursuit team;
For public sector with thorough knowledge of procurement law and the tender regulations proactively ensures team abides to the required deliverables.
For commercial sector plans prepares and participates in client meetings workshops and presentations;
Supports sales lead in the interaction with grouping alliance partners
Key skills and experience
Typically 37 years of experience in bid management consultative selling and solution/account management Project Management within ITC sector;
Preferable experience in Italy public procurement process;
Networking market knowledge (local integrators vendors third party service providers;
Technical and solution experience in IT industry preferably in ITO Applications Analytics;
Proven experience in leading multiple remote crossdisciplinary teams within a global or complex regional scope;
Ability to work as the lead for large complex projects;
Adaptive Project Management skills utilizing best method dependent on the size and complexity of the project;
Familiarity or experience with Project Management and Agile concepts; PMI Prince2 Scrum Master certification appreciated.
Preferred experience in costing and/or pricing for deals
Strong communications skills verbal written and presentation skills;
Italian Mother tongue; Fluency in English both verbal and written (Upper Intermediate / Advanced;
Firstlevel university degree ; advanced university degree preferred.
