Job Description
MetCon Inc. a rapidly growing structural steel fabrication and erection company is seeking a fulltime Machine Operator for our Cocoa Florida location. We offer an excellent benefits package including health/dental/vision/disability insurance paid time off paid holidays and 401k with employer match.
Job Description:
The Machine Operator will have experience setting up operating and maintaining one or more of the following CNC Machines: Plasma Burn Table Water Jet Drill Line Angle Line Shear Press Brake Plate Processor. A successful candidate will need to be organized and work independently with multitasking skills. The Machine Operator will need to handle multiple projects and communicate with others on the team.
General Requirements:
- 1 year experience with CNC downloads
- Understanding of shop drawings/blueprints
- Must be computer literate
- Must be able to use shop arithmetic including decimals and fractions
- Must use common measuring devices (tape measure etc)
- Work as part of a team to ensure achievement of Company goals.
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid Driver License

Pay range is $20 $28 an hour depending on experience.
