Job Description
Position: Machine - CNC Operator
Work Location: Smyrna TN 37167
Payrate: $15-$19/hr on DOE
Duration: 3 Months role with high chances of extension/conversion
Shift: 2nd Shift: 4:30pm - 1:00am but will be trained on 1st shift for 2 - 3 weeks
Dress Code: casual
Job Description:
Contractors will provide light industrial services such as moving palletized material using Material Handling Equipment (MHE) or loading a truck using MHE. This will typically require familiarity with a warehouse or distribution environment ability to operate a pallet jack ability to stand for long periods of time ability to lift up to 50 pounds and good reading writing and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- will be using a hot wire machine to reduce the size of our unusable scrap and must utilize PPE each day such as safety shoes (composite/steel toe) protective eyewear (provided) hearing protection(provided) etc.
- will operate CNC machines that will require the material to be loaded onto the machine. Once the file is completed they will remove the sheet and stack it appropriately then repeats the process
- We have various other pieces of equipment that if they are required to use they will be appropriately trained before use.
