Job Description
About the Role: We are looking fora Financial Analyst to join the Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis team. The successful candidate will support the Corporate Finance team.
This position will be located at one of our US Eastfacilities in Newark Delaware with the possibility of a hybrid remote work arrangement depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide financial support and analysis for Finance leadership operating companies and corporate function teams
- Develop and maintain monthly financial reporting and metrics
- Provide timely reporting and analysis including variance analysis and commentary on business results and other ad hoc requests from Finance leadership
- Participate in the financial forecast and quarterly outlook processes for the operating companies leveraging the Gore Planning process
- Present financial information to the FP&A leadership team
- Proactively challenge existing Finance processes & practices and drive process change and improvement
- Participate in and/or lead special projects
- Foster collaboration with financial partners across businesses global regions and functions
- Educate nonfinancial Associates on financial matters and how to interpret financial results
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in accounting finance or businessrelated discipline
- Minimum 3years of finance and business analysis experience
- Experience with ERP systems or similar financial system tools
- Experience working with large sets of data and deriving insights
- Technical knowledge of corporate financial statements general accounting and process management procedures
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
- Strong collaboration and relationship building skills including success with working in crossfunctional teams
- Can effectively communicate complex information across a broad range of stakeholders
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple commitments
- Ability to travel 5
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in a global manufacturing environment
- Experience with COGNOS TM1 Power BI (or similar) and SAP
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
