Job Description
The Certified Medical Assistant partners with both clinical and nonclinical teams to enhance all facets of healthcare delivery at our clinic in San Mateo CA. Beyond providing direct patient care this role involves contributing to administrative tasks that affect medical services. The Certified Medical Assistant works closely with the clinics Medical Director and management team to ensure that every member receives the highest standard of care.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Collaborates alongside providers and clinical staff to provide personalized care
- Perform lab draws vitals and physical exams and as well as other assessments
- Prepare for appointments by registering patients for exams prepping rooms and equipment
- Data input and limited charting
- Collect and collate member data into custom reports
- Perform backofhouse clinical and administrative duties
- Assist in care coordination of the patient experience
- Perform any additional assigned tasks / ad hoc projects
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:
- Certified Medical Assistant or Active CPTI license
- 1 3 years of phlebotomy experience preferred
- Innovative problem solver with a keen eye for detail and track record of reliable followthrough
- Comfortable in a fast paced highly flexible startup environment
- Possesses the expertise to deliver personalized toptier service to a discerning client base
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with both members and colleagues
- Proficient with Gsuite and adaptable to learning new software
- Ability to work in our San Mateo clinic 5 days a week no nights or weekends
- Experience in nontraditional healthcare environment preferred
