We are hiring an SDE II for contributing to the Physical Stores POS Devices charter.
Physical Stores POS Devices team is one of the tech teams. Our charter is to build software running on devices that enable point of sale systems. This spans across traditional Point of Sale devices and Credit Card authentication in Amazon stores. We work to ensure that our systems are fault tolerant. We work together to build the charter and implement solutions that make our customers lives easier.
Key job responsibilities A SDE II implements solutions for complex problems that are unique to grocery checkout and are rarely encountered in the traditional embedded world. The SDE II owns design implementation and operation of ondevice software application plus corresponding cloud side services in AWS.
3 years of noninternship professional software development experience 2 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience Experience programming with at least one software programming language
3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
