Overview
The Milk and Formula Room Technician is responsible for the routine storage preparation and delivery of mothers breast milk and formula additives prescribed foods and thickeners following the guidelines set forth from Infant Feedings: Guidelines for preparation of Human Milk and Formula in Health Care Facilities by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and from Beast Practice for Expressing Storing and Handling Human Milk in Hospital Homes and Child Care Settings by the Human Milk Banking Association of North America. The Technician supports the daily operations of the Milk and Formula Room to ensure the safety for all patients receiving products prepared in the Milk and Formula Room.

If you are selected for this position you will be asked to supply your immunization records as proof of vaccination. If you and have any concerns about receiving these vaccines medical and/or religious exemptions can be further discussed with Human Resources.
Qualifications
- HS diploma or equivalent Trained in infection Control Practices. Must have mathematical competency. and No Experience necessary / OntheJob Training or
- Associates Degree preferred

Starting Pay
Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $18.54/hr but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
Remote Work/Work from Home
This position is not eligible to work remotely which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Childrens Mercy locations and may not work from home.
