JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior Financial Assistant Reconciliation will primarily focus on the reconciliation process to include comparing various POS lineitem transactions to the bank deposit to ensure UO/UDX is paid correctly for sales made via credit cards gift cards and hotel charges. They also assist the overall Payments Reconciliation as needed with more complicated variance research & corrections.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- May include assisting the Reconciliation Team by handling the bank file download and preliminary matches logging and communicating obvious first look variances assisting with variance research completing the quarterly final Blackline reconciliation reviewing the teams work and advising on necessary corrections completing UDX reconciliations for New Ventures uploading journal entries as needed
- Recon SOP reviews & updates training new Recon Team Members maintain a variety of logs needed for recon variance research and reporting assisting the Team with emails & coverage for basic recons
- Managing journal entry & back up storage managing reconciliation related email storage processing refunds and charges as needed and assisting with special projects as assigned by the Cost Controllers and management.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy procedures training and team member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
Associate degree (AA) is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- 3 years of Finance experience and/or Payments experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of UO POS systems is a plus
