Slate Studios is a leading Creative Production Company based in New York specializing in advertising and editorial content for the fashion beauty and lifestyle industries. Were offering a 6month maternity leave coverage role thats a perfect opportunity for producers currently based in London who want to explore the U.S. (New York) market and work with globally recognized brands.
This is an ideal contract for UK or Europebased producers seeking to broaden their international experience and immerse themselves in New Yorks fastpaced commercial production scene.
Important Requirements
Fluent in English
Must have a valid visa or work authorization for the United States
Dual citizenship (UK/US or EU/US) is a major plus
Must be able to work as a local hire (secure your own housing and local transport in NYC)
Job Summary
As a freelance Senior Producer youll oversee highvolume photo and video productions from concept to completion. Youll be the lead client contact manage logistics coordinate with crew and ensure every production runs smoothly on time and on budget.
Responsibilities
Lead endtoend production for advertising editorial and branded content shoots
Manage timelines budgets call sheets crew coordination and vendors
Act as the primary clientfacing lead during all stages of production
Negotiate and confirm talent and vendor rates
Track and reconcile expenses and handle all postshoot wrap needs
Collaborate with internal team members including creative production and operations leads
Qualifications
5 years experience producing highend commercial photo and/or video shoots
Strong English communication and client relationship skills
Expertise in budget management negotiation and logistics
Comfortable managing multiple projects in a fastpaced environment
Proficiency with tools like Salesforce QuickBooks Online Google Workspace Airtable and Asana
Able to be onsite in NYC for production days (must secure own lodging and travel)
Compensation
Rate is commensurate with experience.
