Job Description
SUMMARY: Performs laboratory tests to determine physical characteristics of materials for such purposes as quality control process control or product development by performing essential duties and responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs testing in accordance with relevant procedure(s) and/or specification(s).
Follows and completes daily work assignments in conjunction with testing schedule.
Has detailed understanding of test methods and specifications.
Has ability to perform basic calculations from tests.
Has ability to conduct assigned tests and procedures within lab.
Consistently follows all quality and safety procedures within lab.
Maintains an orderly appearance of work area/space.
Assists with sample preparation.
Assists with general laboratory organization and clean up.
Organizes and maintains chemical(s) and raw material(s) inventory.
Consistently upholds ontime delivery of assignments/projects.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Currently attending a university college or trade school
