Job Description
As a Workplace Technologies Software Engineer you will be part of an agile DevOps team. You will support maintenance of existing tools incubate and develop new tools and automate/augment functionality of offtheshelf products to remove any friction for users to collaborate connect and communicate effectively.
Scope of Responsibilities / Expectations:
Design develop and maintain user friendly web and mobile applications.
Create and integrate RESTful APIs for seamless communication between frontend and backend systems.
Document features APIs and workflows to enhance team knowledge sharing.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Desired Background/Knowledge/Skills:
Expertise in developing hybrid mobile applications using Ionic framework.
Experience with developing Google Chrome Extension and web apps.
Handson experience with programming languages like Angular TypeScript PHP JAVA.
Understanding of security best practices in web and mobile application development.
Handson experience with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
Familiarity with build pipelines and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
Familiarity with tools like Jira Confluence Bitbucket Android Studio and Xcode.
Able to keep up your technical knowhow and via research online learning and/or rapid prototyping.
Proactive approach and enthusiasm for problem identification and solving.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities.
Basic Requirements
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field with 3 years of experience.
Experience with frontend development using Javascript HTML and CSS.
Experience with backend development using Python.
Experience with SQL databases and designs.
