Early Childhood Teacher to nurture the academic socialemotional and developmental growth of our youngest learners. This role involves creating a safe inclusive and playbased learning environment while implementing researchbased early literacy and numeracy strategies. A strong emphasis on building relationships fostering independence and preparing students for future academic success is key. Many faculty members enjoy investing in their students and the community by mentoring coaching advising a school club or activity participating in curriculum development professional learning and school committees.
Learning Environment- Establish and maintain a warm nurturing and developmentally appropriate classroom culture that fosters secure relationships and a sense of community.
- Ensure the physical classroom environment is wellorganized and accessible to support motor development sensory exploration and cognitive growth.
- Create a safe structured and inclusive learning space that encourages exploration independence and active engagement in early learning experiences.
- Set and reinforce clear consistent expectations for routines transitions and classroom behaviors using positive behavior strategies.

Learning Experience- Design and implement developmentally appropriate playbased lessons that align with early childhood standards and promote foundational skills in literacy numeracy and socialemotional learning.
- Utilize multisensory instructional approaches to support the development of early language fine motor and problemsolving skills.
- Use openended questioning and discussion techniques to encourage language development curiosity and early critical thinking.
- Observe and document student learning through playbased assessments to guide instruction and differentiate support based on individual developmental needs. Use informal and developmentally appropriate assessments to track progress and adjust instruction to meet individual student needs.
- Provide consistent strengthsbased feedback that helps young learners recognize their growth and develop a positive selfconcept as learners.
Learning Design & Analysis- Engage in intentional lesson planning that incorporates developmentally appropriate practices sensory learning and scaffolding techniques.
- Collaborate with colleagues interventionists and specialists to support student growth.
- Track and analyze student progress and developmental milestones to inform instruction and individualized learning plans.
- Communicate student progress and developmental growth effectively with families providing guidance on home support strategies.
- Reflect on teaching practices using student observations and data to make informed instructional adjustments.
Professionalism- Demonstrate timely professional and developmentally appropriate communication with students families and colleagues.
- Adhere to all district policies early childhood education guidelines and state and federal regulations for early learners.
- Participate in professional development in early childhood best practices literacy development and socialemotional learning.
- Fulfill assigned duties including supervision of arrival dismissal meals and rest time ensuring student safety and wellbeing.
- Support schoolwide initiatives including compliance with Special Education (IEP) and English Language Learner (ELL) services for young children.
- Maintain accurate and timely records related to attendance progress monitoring developmental screenings and student accommodations.
