Purpose of Role
Responsible for helping to cover practices and matches as well as to adhere to all Daemen University policies and procedures for employment as a Coach in the Division of Athletics.
About This Opportunity
Joining our Athletics team the Assistant Mens Soccer Coach will be responsible for the development of the studentathletes in the sport of mens soccer. This includes but is not limited to:
- Coaching goalkeepers throughout practices and matches
- Assist Head Coach with film breakdown and analysis
- Assist in organizing and conducting practice sessions
- Assist with recruitment of prospective studentathletes
- Assist in weight room supervision
- Supervise study tables
- Driving vans for practices and competitions
- $5000 per semester
The ideal candidate will be available in the early morning late afternoon/evening and on weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
- Goalkeeper and/or coaching experience on the collegiate level
- Goalkeeping certification
