Overview
Responsibilities
The Bar Porter is responsible for the area relative to supplies equipment and the removal of empty or soiled articles. Creates a high standard of cleanliness to bar according to established policies so guests enjoy a safe and memorable experience.
- Cleans bar area including bar tops sinks glasses refrigerators coolers and other bar appliances in accordance with Hard Rock policies.
- Ensures bar is set properly.
- Ensures all soda gun products fruit garnishes and mixes meets service standards.
- Stocks assigned bar with product and supplies throughout the shift
- Prepares all mixes and garnishes
- Acknowledges greets and converses with customers who approach the bar
- Performs other jobrelated duties as assigned.
Qualifications
A minimum of one 1 year of experience as a bar porter and/or bar back in a casino highvolume nightclub or highvolume restaurant preferred.
Must have knowledge of beverages glassware and garnishes
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand and sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to walk distances.
- The employee must frequently lift/push/pull and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Working Conditions:
- Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in a highly regulated and controlled environment but there will be times where you will need to be on the Casino Floor to complete job functions as outlined or pass through this area. On the Casino Floor you may be exposed to casinorelated environmental factors including but not limited to excessive noise.
