ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Family Housing Program Coordinator is responsible for leading a team that provides critical support to individuals and families facing housing instability or eviction. Grounded in Assertive Engagement and TraumaInformed Care principles this role oversees daytoday staff supervision ensures compliance with funder guidelines and promotes quality service delivery. The Coordinator actively supports team development through hiring training coaching and performance feedback while also managing volunteer efforts and interagency collaborations.

This position plays a key role in helping participants access and maintain stable housing by overseeing case management services facilitating connections to rental assistance energy support and communitybased resources. The Coordinator tracks program outcomes supports budget management and audits and ensures data accuracy through systems like WellSky and Salesforce. Additionally this role will contribute to broader departmental initiatives focused on enhancing behavioral health collaborations and reducing systemic barriers for participants.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Supervision & Staff Development

  • Supervise a team that supports individuals and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness ensuring services are traumainformed strengthsbased and culturally responsive.
  • Provide direct supervision in alignment with agency policies and applicable laws including hiring training assigning tasks evaluating performance and addressing personnel matters.
  • Offer coaching guidance and growth opportunities to staff while managing workloads and adjusting priorities as needed.

Service Delivery & Client Support

  • Oversee the delivery of housing stability services including rental and energy assistance resource referrals and budgeting support.
  • Ensure participant selection and services align with contract and funder guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate confidential client records and enter data into systems like WellSky and Salesforce.
  • Incorporate the Join Office contract terms to service delivery.

Program & Data Management

  • Monitor monthly program expenses and assist with annual budget planning and audits.
  • Ensure contract compliance and readiness for internal and external audits.
  • Track program outcomes and assist with data reporting and analysis.

Community Engagement & Partnerships

  • Coordinate and support volunteer activities related to housing programs.
  • Build and sustain partnerships focus on Hacienda CDC and with community agencies to enhance access and reduce barriers for participants.
  • Participate in crossagency initiatives and workgroups focused on housing behavioral health and equity.

Organizational Alignment & Mission

  • Support program alignment with broader agency goals and initiatives.
  • Work together with Hacienda CDC at their property to provide supportive services in accordance with our responsibilitys services under the service contract.
  • Maintain reliable attendance demonstrate a collaborative spirit and follow management direction.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the departments mission and operations.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Unless an item or section is labeled required we consider any combination of relevant work experience volunteering education and transferable skills qualifying. Please be clear and specific about how your background is relevant.

  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English (verbal and written).
  • 3 years of experience providing or coordinating housing or social services.
  • Team leadership experience including coaching or supervision.
  • Ability to build trust and work with participants from diverse backgrounds including those affected by poverty homelessness and systemic inequity.
  • Strong time management problemsolving and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook) and comfort with data systems.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check in accordance with applicable law.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors degree in Social Work Human Services or a related field or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Experience working with governmentfunded programs (city state or federal).
  • Familiarity with WellSky Salesforce or other case management systems.
  • Personal or lived experience navigating housing instability or other systemic barriers.
  • Valid drivers license insurance and access to a reliable vehicle (may be for specific tasks or locations).

COMPENSATION: $26.0029.00 per hour. Compensation is commensurate with skills and experience.

LOCATION & TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:

This position operates in a hybrid work environment; however frequent inperson meetings and onsite responsibilities are . Regular onsite work will take place at the Adelitas Hacienda CDC offices in Northeast Portland OR. You may also be asked to report to the El Programa Hispano Catlico (EPHC) offices in Gresham OR. Some duties may involve occasional travel as well as evening or weekend hours depending on project needs and deadlines.
