As a team lead in our mine shaft systems team your main responsibility will be to manage the day to day actions for that team. Other duties may include product design 3d modelling and/or completion of detail drawings. You will work alongside a team of engineers designers and drafters in India and Canada dedicated to producing quality products for our customers. We have the tools the people and the software to provide you the confidence to develop solutions that our end users rely on.
Your responsibilities
Organizes and supervises the work of assigned staff of engineers designers and drafters.
Ensures that the quality of the work performed by the team is as expected.
Encourages and supports development of team.
Accepts ownership and accountability of assigned tasks.
Works on standardization product improvement and development efforts of product line.
What you bring
Bachelors in mechanical engineering.
10 years overall experience
Strong interpersonal skills enthusiasm willing to learn willing to educate and a general respect for the engineering profession and its ethics.
Former leadership role and/or leadership experience.
Hands on experience with Solidworks or other similar 3D modelling software.
Mechanical design experience is an asset.
Knowledge of underground mining operations and the mining industry is an asset.
