Amazon Kuiper is looking for an experienced selfstarter Sales professional to drive adoption of Kuiper services across multiple verticals (e.g. Energy Retail Manufacturing Media) in the EU. We are seeking a French speaker preferably with extensive cloud and satcom experience.
You are responsible for identifying evaluating negotiating and managing complex deals with multiple key accounts.
Responsible for managing the sales lifecycle of complex crossfunctional customers and delivering outcomes with crossorganizational impact you execute and define Sales strategies that complement product strategy with limited oversight from others.
You serve as a partner or thought leader for other teams on opportunities. You contribute to strategic documents including but not limited to regional and vertical GTM and account plans. You own reporting on forecasting and planning the business impact of each opportunity with a focus on actuals vs. plan targets.
You have the ability to deeply impact measurable business metrics are able to close deals and significantly grow large and complex opportunities.
This position may require access to information technology or hardware that is subject to export control laws and regulations including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Employment in this position is contingent upon obtaining any required export licenses or other approvals from the United States government. As such the successful candidate must be eligible to obtain any necessary export licenses or approvals based on their nationality citizenship and any other factors considered by the applicable export control regulations.
Key job responsibilities
Contribute to the build out of Amazon Kuiper service revenue with specific focus on key European enterprise customers.
Be customer obsessed. Think on behalf of the customer and work to meet the customers stated and unstated needs and aspirations.
Execute strategic and tactical sales initiatives while working with key internal stakeholders (e.g. Amazon Kuiper product and engineering teams legal finance) and Sales/BD team colleagues.
Be the internal coordinator supporting complex contract negotiations and complex business requirements and activities which deliver results.
Think strategically and analytically about business priorities product and technical challenges with the ability to deliver targetbased results working crossorganizationally.
Get and deliver customer feedback.
About the team
Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide lowlatency highspeed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.
Sales experience in the satellite or Cloud Computing industry selling to Enterprise customers
Must be fluent in French
Proven track record of developing and executing successful Sales strategies
Experience in developing negotiating and executing business agreements
Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior executives and partners
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
Strong project management and organizational abilities
Excellent communication and public presentation skills
Strategic thinking capabilities combined with operational acumen
Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment
Willingness to travel extensively within the EMEA region
Familiarity with SFDC
Strong understanding of cloud technologies and digital transformation trends
Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
Experience identifying negotiating and executing complex legal agreements
