Job Description
Were hiring on behalf of a respected consulting firm with a powerful mission: accelerating the global transition to sustainable energy. As their recruitment partner were searching for a Senior Renewable Engineer to join their growing team of experts supporting highimpact projects across wind solar hydro and emerging technologies.
Duties & Responsibilities
The Opportunity
This is a pivotal role where youll bring deep technical expertise lead renewable energy projects and influence strategic decisions for clients across the public and private sectors. Youll work in a multidisciplinary environment alongside energy analysts project managers and environmental specialists to shape a cleaner more resilient future.Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee feasibility studies design and implementation of renewable energy systems
- Provide expert technical guidance on solar PV onshore/offshore wind and/or battery storage projects
- Conduct site assessments energy yield simulations and performance analysis
- Support clients with permitting grid integration and regulatory compliance
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal knowledge sharing
- Collaborate crossfunctionally to deliver innovative practical solutions to sustainability challenges
What Were Looking For
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Renewable Energy Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- 7 years of experience in renewable energy engineering ideally in a consulting environment
- Proven track record in delivering largescale renewable energy projects from concept to commissioning
- Strong knowledge of industry tools (e.g. PVsyst WindPro HOMER etc.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently with clients and stakeholders
- Passion for sustainability and continuous innovation
