Spartanburg Methodist College invites applications forparttime inperson adjunct faculty positions in Economics. The successful candidate may teach one to three sections of Microeconomics and/or Macroeconomics. The start date for the Fall 2025 Semester is August 12th but the Department seeks candidates for future semesters as well. Contracts may be renewed on a semesterbysemester basis pending enrollment instructor availability and student success. The successful candidate will hold one of the following credentials: - Hold a PhD MA or MS in Economics or a DBA or MBA with 18 graduate hours in Economics.
- Possess strong communication skills.
- Have experience with Course Management Systems such as Blackboard Canvas or D2L.
- Be firmly committed to high quality instruction for firstgeneration college students and be familiar with best practices in active learning pedagogies.
- Have demonstrable successful experience as a teacher (college level preferred).
