Job Summary: As a Line Lead at our facility you will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient operation of 4 production lines. Your responsibilities will include supervising the production process ensuring continuous operation to meet production targets and addressing any issues that may arise particularly with box machines to minimize downtime. Flexibility is key as you will need to move between departments to accommodate new orders ensuring seamless workflow across shifts.
Position: Line Lead
Pay Rate: $17/hr
Schedule: 1ST SHIFT

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of 4 production lines ensuring smooth operation and adherence to quality standards.
- Monitor production schedules and adjust workflow as necessary to meet production targets and customer demands.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues with box machines to prevent downtime ensuring continuous production flow.
- Train and mentor production line staff ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to prioritize and fulfill incoming orders maintaining efficient production cycles.
- Maintain accurate production records and reports documenting performance metrics and any operational challenges.
- Ensure compliance with company policies safety regulations and quality standards throughout the production process.
- Participate in regular meetings and discussions to optimize production processes and address operational issues.
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a production environment ideally overseeing multiple production lines.
- Strong technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues particularly with box machines.
- Flexibility to work 1st shift Monday through Saturday (with Saturday as a mandatory half day) and adapt to changing production priorities.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Detailoriented with a focus on quality and efficiency in production operations.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and quality assurance processes in a manufacturing setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food production packaging or similar industries.
- Certification or training in lean manufacturing principles or process improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and production scheduling software.
