AVTEC has an excellent opportunity to hire an Energy & Utility focused Sr. Account Manager as a new overlay to the existing sales team. With steady growth over the last decade and over 30 growth from 2023 to 2024 alone it is an exciting time to join our expanding team.
This position will interact with the largest utility companies in North America and worldwide as the utility market makes up 20 of our business. This is a fun technical role with a clear trajectory to make a significant impact not only on the business but to our mission critical users.
Scope of Responsibilities & Expectations
Meet or exceed assigned revenue and orders quota
Develop and maintain a sufficient pipeline and new business
Apply Sandler Selling methodology when appropriate
Conduct calls and facetoface software demonstrations and presentations
Provide standard communication and forecasting reviews with management
Participate in regional and national trade shows when required
Remain current on Avtec products software releases and new features
Monitor market conditions in relation to competitors
Build strong and successful relationships with customers and dealers
Collaborate with the marketing department and product managers
Work closely with your inside sales representative to quote and win business
Preferred Qualifications & Requirements
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding quota in sales
Ability to travel up to 50 of the time
Knowledge of Salesforce is preferred
Experience in the IT telephony or radio industry
Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship builder
High intellectual abilities to sell complex products and customer solutions
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while paying close attention to details
Selfdirected and resultsoriented with a strong work ethic and competitive spirit

Target Base Salary Range
$67100.00 $134700.00Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
