The Lounge by Zalando Demand Tech team owns services dedicated to delivering The Right Message to The Right People at The Right Time on a global scale. We oversee the process of bringing exciting offers to over a million users daily through sophisticated datadriven marketing automation.
We are growing rapidly and are searching for a Principal Product Manager with a strategic and entrepreneurial mindset capable of building and iterating on the next generation of our marketing communication platform. If you are passionate about developing automated solutions that combine highvolume data pipelines lowlatency communications and deep customer insights we want to hear from you!
Your Mission
As part of a relatively new team you will tackle complex problems in highvolume user interactions (e.g. multichannel campaigns realtime push notifications) ensuring maximum impact through personalization and continuous optimization. The services you develop will become the cornerstone for managing communications with Lounge by Zalando users across various countriesultimately driving engagement conversion and growth.

CoAuthor & Execute Product Strategy: Collaborate on the product roadmap propose innovative automation strategies and pivot swiftly based on datadriven insights.
Drive Analytical Insights & Experimentation: Gather and analyze both qualitative and quantitative data establish clear KPIs (CTR CPA ROI) and foster a culture of A/B testing and iterative improvements.
Own the Product Backlog: Partner with engineering to prioritize features aligned with business goals ensuring technical requirements (APIs microservices) are met for scalable marketing integrations.
Stakeholder Management & Communication: Coordinate with marketing design and data science teams to deliver seamless multichannel campaigns while regularly updating all stakeholders on progress and outcomes.
Promote AIDriven Personalization: Leverage AI/ML for hyperpersonalized messaging dynamic segmentation and automated page optimization continuously refining strategies based on realtime user behavior.
Lead & Mentor: Guide junior and midlevel team members through structured coaching and feedback cultivating a resilient innovative and growthoriented team culture.

Entrepreneurial ProblemSolver: Demonstrated track record of driving product discovery and leveraging both successes and failures to deliver impactful solutions.
Marketing Automation Mindset: Proven expertise in automating multichannel campaigns showing deep familiarity with common marketing tools platforms and growth tactics.
Strong Analytical & Communication Skills: Skilled at interpreting complex data designing experiments to validate assumptions and adapting messages to different audiences with clarity and precision.
Technical Fluency: Comfortable discussing APIs microservices and data models; adept at integrating marketing technologies and analyzing complex data flows.
Track Record of Success & Resilience: Over 7 years of Product Management experience including insights gained from both triumphs and setbacks with the stamina to tackle multifaceted challenges over long periods.
