The Role:
Were looking for a handson startupsavvy IT & Office Technology Specialist to join us in building the backbone of our inoffice experience. Youll lead all things IT and technical operations at our Hollywood HQ from new hire setups and internal tooling to preparing our space for highimpact events and team growth.
This is not your standard IT role. Youll partner closely with Workplace Events and Ops to ensure our physical space runs seamlessly especially as we scale our headcount and start throwing some truly epic events from our office. Whether youre troubleshooting a laptop optimizing our WiFi or setting up event AV for a panel with hundreds of guests youll be the tech hero behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be the goto for all inoffice IT support handling tickets walkups and urgent troubleshooting across hardware software and systems.
- Set up and maintain employee devices monitors accessories and user accounts (Google Workspace Slack Notion etc. for all new hires and contractors.
- Own network infrastructure at HQ including WiFi routers and connectivity for team and guest use.
- Partner with our Workplace and Events team to power tech for company events including AV sound lighting and live streams.
- Prepare the office for scaling recommending and implementing systems tools and layouts that support a growing team and future event programming.
- Track and manage IT inventory software licenses and security protocols.
Maintain best practices for data protection password management and device security across the org.
- Troubleshoot and support printers office displays conference room tech and other connected devices.
Coordinate with outside vendors (e.g. internet providers IT consultants AV rentals) when needed.
What Were Looking For:
- 3 years of IT experience ideally in a startup or creative/techheavy environment.
- Experience supporting office infrastructure and live events (internal or publicfacing).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and comfort supporting Macbased environments.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace Slack Notion Zoom and other common SaaS tools.
- Bonus: experience with MDM tools (like Kandji Jamf) SOC2 or IT compliance standards or AV setup.
- High attention to detail and a proactive problemsolving mindset.
- Clear communicator who enjoys collaborating with people across teams.
