An exciting opportunity has emerged within our Newham service for a Criminal Justice Team Leader to join our vibrant team committed to supporting individuals with drug and/or alcohol issues involved in the criminal justice system.

Location: Barnet

HoursFull Time: 37.5 hours per week

Full Time Salary Range: 35220..91 Dependent on experience paid Pro Rata for part time hours

Allowance: 2195.72 Outer London Weighting Pro Rata

Contract Type: Permanent

Fulltime hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For parttime roles the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

About the Role:

• As a Team Leader you will provide guidance support and direction to a team of dedicated recovery workers.
• Your role involves operational line management of your team including supervision appraisal performance and sickness management.
• Empowering your staff to instill hope empowerment choices control and opportunities in service users enabling them to realise their full potential is a crucial aspect of your role.
• Youll collaborate with various Criminal Justice Agencies such as police probation court staff and liaison and diversion partners to develop pathways and mutual ways of working for optimal outcomes.
• Building strong relationships with local prisons to ensure seamless transitions for service users upon release is another key component of your role.

To excel in this role:

• We seek an individual with substantial experience in the substance misuse or criminal justice sector.
• You should possess knowledge and experience in developing and leading health and social care services delivering services that demonstrate high performance and quality standards.
• Significant experience in leading teams working with families under social care intervention is advantageous.
• Familiarity with current legislation surrounding children young people and safeguarding practice is essential.
• You should have the ability to lead inspire and develop a team along with excellent verbal and written communication skills and proficiency in common MS Office applications (Word/Excel/Outlook).
