Description

Come join our team as a Receiving Quality Inspector! As a Receiving Quality Inspector in Fluke Biomedical you be responsible for inspecting incoming purchased material/components and final inspection of outgoing Medical device products.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical and mechanical inspection in all areas of incoming component and outgoing finished good inspection utilizing an inspection guide
  • Accept/reject active or passive components as appropriate and update physical and computerbased quality records
  • Collect data and implement statistical process control techniques for component inspection sample size
  • Utilize various online computer systems for spec. information and general material tracking.
  • Generate discrepant material reports.
  • Review and maintain medical device documentation under FDA standards in accordance with the companys Quality Management System standard operating procedures

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a Manufacturing environmentincluding repetitive use of upper extremities.
  • Position may require occasional heavy lifting > 50 lbs) or movement of objects up to 40 lbs.
  • Safety glasses may be required.
  • Must be able to read speak and understand English fluently in order to communicate and provide directions to various team members in operations
  • Available to work a nominal 8hrs/day 5 day/week schedule with flexibility to work up to 10 overtime when required.

Desirable:

  • Typically less than 1 year of related experience required to be successful in the role
  • Oracle user/experience a plus
  • Experience working in lean continuous improvement manufacturing environment.
