Conduct regular inspections and quality checks on raw materials in-process items and final products.
Ensure adherence to quality standards safety regulations and customer specifications throughout the production process.
Prepare detailed reports on product quality and document non-conformance issues.
Collaborate with production teams to identify root causes of quality issues and suggest preventive measures.
Maintain and calibrate testing equipment and ensure all quality tools are functioning accurately.
Implement and enforce quality assurance protocols and procedures.
Support internal and external audits by maintaining proper documentation and records.
Train staff on quality control processes and updates to quality policies.
Ensure timely resolution of quality-related concerns raised by clients or internal teams.
Work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure incoming materials meet quality requirements.
Diploma or Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering Food Technology or a related field.
Proven experience in a Quality Control or Quality Assurance role (2 5 years preferred).
Familiarity with ISO standards and other industry-specific quality norms.
Strong knowledge of quality inspection techniques and tools.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Good understanding of documentation reporting and data analysis.
Proficiency in using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers micrometers gauges etc.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Problem-solving mindset and a proactive approach.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) is an added advantage.
