Money Management Associate
No ones independence should be at risk because of a lack of financial assistance. As the Money Management Associate you will promote the independence and wellbeing of consumers by supporting and assisting with money management needs within the guidelines of the Executive Office of Aging and Independence (AGE).
Schedule: This is a fulltime nonexempt 35 hour/week) onsite position. Monday through Friday. No nights or weekends.
Compensation: Starting annual salary is $55000.00. Being bilingual is not a requirement for this role but we recognize it as an asset and offer an additional 6 bilingual designation for Spanish Haitian Creole Russian Vietnamese Cantonese or Mandarin.

Job Activities:
Job activities of the position are below. Additional duties may be assigned as required.
- Conduct intake and screenings by telephone home visits and or video to determine consumer eligibility for the Money Management Program
- Lead in supervising mentoring training and supporting program volunteers; match volunteers with suitable consumers
- Administer cash distribution and bill payer service
- Maintain complete accurate and confidential consumer and volunteer records in accordance with applicable regulations and laws
- Prepare and submit all required reports and statistics
- Process referrals to ensure consumers receive appropriate services and programs
- Participate on applicable committees and workgroup inside and outside the agency
- Collaborate and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
Qualifications:
- Bachelors in social work or a related field or Associates and 2 years of relevant experience
- Competency in working with a diverse population of consumers from a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds
- Private transportation
- Individuals with previous experience or interest in working within nonprofit health care/human services organizations encouraged to apply
- Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to communicate across all levels including with staff and external partners
- Highly resourceful team player with the ability to work effectively independently or as a part of a team
- Demonstrates a willingness to take on new tasks with a general attitude that no task is too small impossible or cannot be improved.

- Experience working in a 501c3 organization strongly preferred
