Join Our Team as a Purchasing Analyst!
Are you ready to make an impact in a dynamic growing company MMI Engineered Solutions is looking for a Purchasing Analyst to join our team in Saline MI! If youre a skilled negotiator with a passion for supply chain management this is the perfect opportunity for you!
Your Role:
As a Purchasing Analyst youll be at the heart of our purchasing operationsmanaging key supplier relationships negotiating contracts and ensuring the timely delivery of materials. Youll work handinhand with vendors across the globe to meet our production needs while maintaining topnotch quality and safety standards.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Build strong partnerships with key suppliers to ensure effective performance and contract compliance.
- Identify and develop new suppliers to support our expanding business needswhile securing favorable pricing and delivery terms.
- Determine optimal inventory levels and make datadriven decisions to meet production needs.
- Stay on top of inventory and Bill of Materials (BOM) within our ERP system.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure purchased materials arrive on time every time.
- Lead the charge in maintaining safety standards in line with IATF16949 and MIOSHA guidelines.
- Actively contribute to the success of our Operations team by supporting purchasing planning scheduling and shipping processes.
What Youll Need:
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain or equivalent experience.
- 23 years of purchasing/procurement experience in a manufacturing environment (bonus points for IATF 16949 experience!.
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of cost savings.
- A solid understanding of strategic sourcing international suppliers and packaging.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills to work with crossfunctional teams.
