What youll do:
Our Human Resources section provides service and support to OBM staff and the staff and board members of the 27 boards and commissions that we serve. As the HCM Manager youll be the primary point of contact on HR management issues for the boards and commissions working closely with the executive directors. In this role you will:
- Provide consultation and advice regarding classification and salary matters talent acquisition state policies and programs and civil service and employment laws.
- Oversee payroll absence management benefit administration and talent acquisition processes.
- Work on labor relations activities like conducting administrative hearings and investigations and processing grievances.
- Serve as EEO officer and ADA coordinator for the boards and commissions.
- Supervise staff.
