The automotive markets Holman serves include fleet management and leasing; vehicle fabrication and upfitting; component manufacturing and productivity solutions; powertrain distribution and logistics services; commercial and personal insurance and risk management; and retail automotive sales as one of the largest privately owned dealership groups in the United States.
Holman is currently accepting applications for the role of Jr. Property Tax Accountant.
Principal Purpose of Position:
- Prepares and files annual property tax returns and other government property tax forms.
- Reviews assessed values and files protests when applicable.
- Performs various duties related to processing property tax bills for payment to taxing jurisdictions and billing clients through the use of inhouse personal property tax computer system.
- Research tax issues for both internal and external customers.
- Responds to billing inquiries.
- Maintains property tax records and files.
- Cancels plates and request refunds from jurisdictions when applicable.
- Reconciles general ledger sub account and completes journal entries.
- Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
Education and/or Training:
- Bachelors degree or 1 to 2 years of accounting work experience required.
Relevant Work Experience:
- Knowledge of property tax concepts and practices related to various jurisdictions.

Pay:
