DESCRIPTION: Patricio Enterprises Inc. is recruiting to fill a Systems Engineer Senior at Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division in support of the Marine Air Defense Integration System (MADIS) Program Manager GroundBased Air Defense PEO Land Systems.
Primary duties will include (but not limited to):
Assess design upgrade and maintain systems
Conduct risk assessment mitigation and tracking
Plan and conduct tests
Implement and analyze quality metrics
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Ability to research analyze and evaluate information
Ability to express ideas effectively orally and in writing
Ability to work with large amounts of data
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor degree
15 years experience with USMC systems including Ground Base Air Defense (GBAD) Systems (Required) and Common Aviation Command including and Control (CAC2S) (Desired)
Experience includes 10 years Systems Engineering and IV&V/T&E experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: This is a normal office working environment with travel to test sites of varying climatic conditions.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is sedentary work which requires the following physical activities: reaching sifting lifting finger dexterity grasping feeling repetitive motions talking hearing and visual acuity. Occasionally lifts to 50 lbs.
Employees must be able to see and hear read and write. Requires adaptability analyzing assessing calculating decision making dependability good judgment reading memorizing social skills speaking stress control and writing. Ability to understand remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information; Ability to apply common sense in performing job. Ability to complete routine forms use existing form letters and/or conduct routine oral communication. Ability to make decisions which have significant impact on the immediate work unit.
