As a part of the Imperfect Inventory Monetization team this individual will be responsible for owning Wayfairs monetization strategy through our Open Box channel. While Wayfair Outlets serve as our physical retail presence the Open Box program operates as our ecommerce channel on .
We are looking for an analytical actionoriented and collaborative individual that can translate business problems to actionable insights and data driven solutions to influence operational results. The Senior Analyst will own endtoend management of the Open Box channel including pricing strategy performance optimization and crossfunctional collaboration to maximize profitability. Successful individuals in this role excel at both qualitative and quantitative analysis while also being eager to communicate upward and outward to tell a concise story.
What Youll Do:
- Manage processes and engagement with key crossfunctional partners
- Build dashboards visualizations and prototypes to translate data sets into driving insights and actions
- Conduct ad hoc analyses and build advanced reports
- Present insights or analyses to a large audience with pointed business recommendations
- Communicate regularly with cross functional partners to understand business trends and new ways to break down problems into solutions
- Develop sustainable longterm performance management practices to assess and grow the business
- Build operationalize and iterate on key performance metrics and dashboards
- Engage in road mapping and prioritization through diligent opportunity sizing and scoping efforts
- Work crossfunctionally with a variety of teams including Analytics Forecasting and Technology
What Youll Need:
- Bachelors degree in a quantitative field
- 2 years of professional experience
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets SQL or GBQ and data visualization tools such as Google Data Studio (Looker Tableau or PowerBI)
- Teamfirst attitude with enthusiasm for crossfunctional collaboration
- High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously
- An entrepreneurial spirit and mindset; you must be adaptable and comfortable with change
An Important Note about Wayfairs InOffice Policy:
All Bostonbased interns Coops and corporate employees will be in office in a hybrid capacity. Employees will work in the office on designated days Monday Thursday and work remotely Friday.
