Job Description

The HEIGHTS IN SPANISH WORSHIP DIRECTOR

The Heights in Spanish is a dynamic and welcoming congregation located in Richardson Texas. We function as one church with two languages. We are committed to being and making growing disciples who make disciples of Jesus Christ.

The Heights in Spanish Worship Director will lead and oversee the worship ministry working closely with the lead HIS Pastor to plan services and coordinate music stage design and other worship elements. This role includes developing and leading worship teams recruiting and training volunteers and organizing special services and events. The HIS Worship Director will also provide spiritual guidance for worship team members and ensure a spiritually enriching environment for the congregation. This is a part time position of 20 hours a week.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate and develop teams of people to meet the HIS Worship needs

  • Continue to build upon the existing team and develop it into a cohesive healthy and worshipful group

  • Coordinate and supervise weekly rehearsals with worship band
  • Planning and evaluate worship in collaboration with HIS Lead and Associate Minister Staff
  • Maintaining Service plans up to date in worship platforms such as Planning Center and Pro Presenter

    Coordinate HIS Sunday Services



    • Collaborate with HIS Ministers the special events and calendar quarterly
    • Conduct a rehearsal and runthrough on Sunday services
    • Coordinate and supervise teams and lay leadership on every Sunday service

    Ensure Accurate Timely Response to Communication Requests (Phone or Email)



    • Manage email voicemail and communication requests in a timely thorough manner not to exceed 1 week
    • Build trust by maintaining confidence of information
    • Respond to all communication with professionalism discretion and a service orientation

    Serve as a Fantastic Teammate to Peers on the Staff Team

    RELATIONSHIPS

    Pastor of Worship: The HIS Worship Director. He is expected to be coachable available and responsive to him while striving for a healthy Christlike relationship characterized by love truth and unity.

    HIS Lead Pastor: The HIS Worship Director reports directly to the HIS Lead Pastor. He is expected to be coachable available and responsive to him while striving for a healthy Christlike relationship characterized by love truth and unity.

    HIS Teaching Pastor: The HIS Worship Director embodies and exhibits servant leadership in all interactions with HIS Teaching Pastor envisioning equipping and empowering him to make the greatest kingdom impact possible.

    HIS Administrative Assistant: The HIS Worship Director embodies and exhibits servant leadership in all interactions with HIS Administrative Assistant envisioning equipping and empowering her to make the greatest kingdom impact possible.

    The Heights Staff: The HIS Worship Director collaborates with other members of The Heights Staff serves as a resource and encouragement to them and partners with them effectively to achieve maximum kingdom impact.

    Volunteer Teams: The HIS Worship Director embodies and exhibits servant leadership in all interactions with volunteer team members envisioning equipping and empowering them to make the greatest kingdom impact possible.
