Texas Health Denton Pharmacy is looking for a top skilled Pharmacy Technician. Is that you
Work location: Texas Health Denton 3000 N I35 TX 76201
Work hours: PRN (As Needed not eligible for benefits) Rotating shifts
Heres What You Need
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
- 1 Year Inpatient pharmacy tech experience strongly preferred
- RPhT Registered Pharmacy Technician Upon Hire Required
What You Will Do
Timely and accurate preparation delivery to the nursing units/appropriate departments & storage of medications including (when appropriate) the use of technology to do so varies by location.
Ensuring accuracy of ones own work as well as the maintenance of required competencies and other documentation. Must reflect consistently departmental quality improvement and Patient Safety standards programs and initiatives.
Ongoing professional development and growth leads by example perpetuates accountability manages own time.
Communicate effectively develop positive working relationships and role model teamwork that reflects the Texas Health Promise Behaviors. Trains new employees on routine tasks under the direction of designated personnel.
Shares the responsibility for minimizing pharmaceutical costs (including wastage) and discovering new process efficiencies.
- Other duties as assigned.
