Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide all relevant information from the court hearing to the appropriate department at the facility.
Compile maintain and track the mental health court appearances and evaluation appointments for all patients admitted to the facility on an involuntary basis.
Communicate effectively with court clerks courtappointed doctors public defenders and various court personnel in order to coordinate and deliver correct patient information for hearings and evaluations.
Assemble chart materials for mental health court evaluations and hearings to provide evidence for each patients hold.
Communicate patient court progression with appropriate departments at the facility.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation of relevant activities.
Education/Experience/Skill Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors degree in social work or health field preferred.
Two or more years of related experience required.
Understanding of court/criminal justice system and structure preferred.
