As a Senior Java BigData Cloud Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Asset Wealth Management you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance build and deliver trusted marketleading technology products in a secure stable and scalable way. Drive significant business impact through your capabilities and contributions and apply deep technical expertise and problemsolving methodologies to tackle a diverse array of challenges that span multiple technologies and applications.
Job responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of big data solutions using Java UI and cloud technologies.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of engineers ensuring best practices in software development and data engineering.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Architect and implement scalable reliable and secure big data pipelines and workflows.
- Optimize existing systems for performance scalability and costeffectiveness.
- Ensure data security privacy and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to big data processing and cloud infrastructure.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends and evaluate their potential impact on the organization.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement innovation and collaboration within the team.
Required qualifications capabilities and skills:
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5 years applied experience
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in Java Big Data Cloud (AWS Azure or Google Cloud) development.
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop Spark Kafka and NoSQL databases.
- Handson practical experience delivering system design application development testing and operational stability
- Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight
- Practical cloud native experience
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills:
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop Spark Kafka and NoSQL databases.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Certification in cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer).
