Job Description

Assisting the Office of Admissions with general office/clerical work ranging from computing telephone and filing skills. All positions will require excellent customer service skills. This role will require sensitivity to and understanding of the varied academic socioeconomic cultural disability and ethnic backgrounds of the College students and employees.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Outreach to prospective students via email text or phone call.

  • Assist admissions recruiter with preparation for and/or tabling events.

  • Assist with incoming inquiries via front desk coverage.

  • Conduct tours of campus as needed.

  • Assisting the department with keeping a consistent inventory of swag items.

  • Create and organize admission packets for prospective students.

  • Other duties logically associated with this role may be assigned.

All responsibilities will be conducted within the parameters of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) other applicable regulatory requirements and professional standards.

CLASSIFICATION: PartTime/Federal Work Study

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED.

  • Completed FAFSA on file demonstrating financial need.

  • Maintain a minimum of 6 credit hours of enrollment in eligible courses.

  • Maintain an aideligible Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) status.

  • Conduct all activities within the established guidelines of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Applications (Word Excel PowerPoint and Teams) is preferred.

  • Ability to operate copiers and other office related equipment.

  • Possess strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

  • Function effectively in a team environment.

Salary: $15.00 per hour
