Carlow Universitys School of Nursing Graduate Nursing Department seeks an experienced educator to assume the faculty role of clinical coordinator parttime 16 hours per week) for an ongoing Health System Research Grant for placement of FNP students in medically underserved or health professional shortage areas. The parttime nontenuretrack faculty member will have primary responsibility for clinical coordination of students awarded the ANEW scholarships. Responsibilities include: 1 Collaborating with the project team and Director of Clinical Education to assign students to clinical sites and evaluate clinical sites 2 Meeting with IMPACT Project preceptors monthly; 3 Visiting students in the clinical settings twice each semester and monthly via Teams to assess progress toward education and grant goals 4 Conducting community outreach to bring awareness about the grant and focus to Carlow NP programs 5 Conducting event planning to showcase program activities to share simulations and education materials 6 Meeting with the IMPACT Advisory Board quarterly to evaluate feedback from preceptors and Medical Director. Required Experience: All candidates must have a doctorate (MSN DNP PhD EdD or another related degree preferred) and hold Pennsylvania State Professional Nurse licensure. Two years of teaching experience in an FNP program or related experience. Minimum three years of clinical experience and evidence of current practice.
