Job Description

Ergon Inc. seeks a fulltime Learning Systems Administrator to join our team. The Learning Systems Administrator directly supports employee adoption of new technology and business processes across all Ergon Business Segments. The individual assigned to this position will work closely with the Project Management Office (PMO) and training team to ensure training content is successfully managed delivered and reported through multiple related learning delivery systems. SuccessFactors Learning Management System (LMS) is the primary LMS used across Ergon. This position is onsite in Flowood MS.

Learning Systems Administrator Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Trains and monitors permissions of organizational LMS admins supporting Polaris.
  • Creates and manages user structures including creating user groups and learning cohorts.
  • Create and update resources to train and support learners in using Polarisrelated technology for online and inperson learning.
  • Creates and manages the overall course structure and sets up course programs based on specifications from the instructional designer.
  • Creates appropriate items curriculum and programs within LMS to meet program training requirements.
  • Publishes and archives online or blended learning solutions assigns training curricula and adds and deletes resources.
  • Manage course enrollment including progress tracking.
  • Populates course information and assigns learners.
  • Develop and update standardized tools and reporting for ongoing access to learning information; generates standard and custom reports.
  • Provides troubleshooting assistance for users regarding logging in to learning systems and accessing courses.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves issues relating to system functionality and software systems.
  • Works with the training specialists and instructional designers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to accessing the LMS and course content.
  • Serves as point of escalation for support issues which may include interaction with LMS vendor and other vendor support services.
  • Identifies and communicates opportunities for process and quality improvements providing feedback on usage defects and suggested enhancements.
  • Acquires and maintains knowledge of current technology as it applies to LMS software and systems.
  • Internal vs. external based on cost quality timeliness and other factors.

Learning Systems Administrator Job Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience managing learning systems with a minimum of 3 years experience as an LMS administrator for the SuccessFactors LMS.
  • Ability to create custom reports within the SuccessFactors LMS using SQL. The successful candidate will need to describe the types of reports created and how they were created.
  • At least 1 years experience exporting LMS data into business intelligence applications.
  • Ability to collaborate with vendors and others at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook PowerPoint Word and Excel to create edit and share information.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate complex technical concepts in English.
  • A demonstrated ability to break tasks down into individual steps and organize them logically.
  • Selfdirected. The ability and desire to research a topic independently and either complete a task from that research or verify findings with subject matter experts.
  • Customer service skills responsive attitude
  • Ability to travel up to 20 of the time.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP Build Work Zone.
  • Experience managing learning content within SAP EnableNow.
  • Experience with WalkMe inapplication learning delivery.
  • Bachelors Degree in a related field.
