Our client is a reputable and growing public accounting firm located in Phoenix Arizona dedicated to providing highquality tax audit and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients. We foster a culture of integrity innovation and collaboration and we are looking for a Tax Senior to join our team and play a key role in delivering strategic tax solutions with a clientfirst mindset.
As a Tax Senior you will be responsible for managing multiple tax engagements for individuals corporations partnerships and trusts. You will serve as a key point of contact for clients supervise junior staff and ensure compliance with federal state and local tax regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated tax professional to grow their career in a supportive and clientfocused environment.
Prepare and review complex federal and state income tax returns for individuals corporations partnerships and fiduciaries.
Conduct tax research and provide welldocumented conclusions and recommendations.
Assist in tax planning strategies for highnetworth individuals and business entities.
Lead client engagements communicate directly with clients and maintain strong client relationships.
Review work prepared by associates and provide mentorship and feedback.
Monitor engagement budgets and billing.
Stay uptodate with changes in tax laws and regulations relevant to Arizona and federal taxation.
Participate in internal training and contribute to process improvements.
Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field (Masters in Taxation a plus).
CPA license preferred
3 years of relevant tax experience in public accounting.
Proficient in tax preparation and research software (e.g. CCH Axcess UltraTax ProSystem fx or similar).
Strong knowledge of federal state and local tax laws especially Arizona tax regulations.
Excellent analytical problemsolving and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
