Skills & Experience
- PhD in medical physics (MRI) or MSc degree with at least 2 years of experience in the field of MRI.
- Proficient in MRI physics and sequence principles; experienced with handson MRI hardware operation
- Handson experience acquiring MRI data familiarity with data acquisition analysis techniques and experience in interpretation/presentation of said data
- Interest in or introductory experience with the physics of ultralow field environments particularly in generating quantitative data such as relaxation times diffusion coefficients and magnetic susceptibility
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design development handson implementation and optimisation of MRI pulse sequences including adjusting sequence parameters during experimental sessions.
- Conduct experimental tests using phantoms and simulations to evaluate sequence performance stability and reproducibility particularly tailored to ultralowfield MRI.
- Collaborate closely with team members to refine data acquisition methods simplify processing workflows and validate quantitative MRI approaches.
- Participate actively in MRI hardware testing troubleshooting optimisation and documentation of experiments procedures and results.
- Assist in research project planning and and contribute occasionally to scientific publications or patent documentation.
